After reading several posts about how important transom angle is to Pro-Drive motor performance, and searching without success to figure out what that angle was, I thought mebbe someone here could tell me. Looks like my transom is about 11 degrees, am I missing some performance? |

I believe it is 10-12 degrees. I would think you would be fine. Hull performance also will be related to weight distribution. |

16 degree and on a long shank, go with a 19" transom |

Regardless what anyone tells ya, it dont fkn matter. Play wit da trim til ya get it where it runs best.I have a GTR that is on a boat that had a 40 mercury, then a Pro Drive and now a GTR. It ran like a raped ape wit all of em. |

The more angle, the deeper you can get with prop.. With a GT, it may not matter as much, but I truely believe that with a PD it does. SHIM it correctly, and you will see a difference in performance when in solid mud. That is the only time it will help. |

Update - Tracker transom angle is 17 deg, measured height is 20 3/8" at the keel. That makes apparent transom height = 19 1/2". Sounds like that's just about where it's supposed to be. |
