I've got a typical jon boat seat right now in my center console alum boat and I'd like to replace it with a lean post type seat like gator trax puts on their flats boats. Check out this page from gator trax, and scroll down until you see the flats boat with the "custom removable lean post". http://www.gatortraxboats.com/stockingdealers.htm I'd like to get something like that in my boat that will just mount to front of the rear bench seat, but will let me sit a little higher while driving and maybe provide enough room for someone else to lean on at the same time. Anyone build this kind of stuff? Gator trax charges alot for it, especially to ship to shreveport, LA. |
