I plan on running my steel frame in fresh and brackish water and was wondering if this would work the same as on an outboard motor. Why couldn't you put one of these anodes on the cavitation plate? Is there any reason why it would't "attract corrosion" and save my frame? I obviously plan to thoroughly wash it after every use in brackish water but thought this might help a little more.

Your thoughts?
