Just ordered a Prodrive and wondering what to expect for speeds with a single 36 don't have the cash for duals and probably never will. Is it stupid to run a single on this boat. KP at Prodrive is very helpful by the way and really knows his stuff, he won my business with his insite and not pushing anything on me. They dont make many of those kinda guys anymore. Cuddos to Prodrive |

I run a completely different setup & motor mine runs good. It carries an okay load 2-3 people @ 23-25 MPH. I know we are running different motors but I would consider a Stage 1 on that thing when you get the cash or want to add some performance mods to her. It really woke up my motor, running 32-33 and carrying 4 people at 27-28 MPH |

I am new to the whole mud motor world my previous boat was a 2067 Alumaweld with a 150 jet it would carry a whole lotta and still go fast. Tired of the jet plugging up and maintaince costs on them carbs. Getting something I can work on myself, and run in almost the same water. |

It's not going to run as fast but to carry a better load look into some heads & after market exhaust. If you want to add carb & performance cam later you can always do that which will gain you more load carrying ability & gain some top end as well. |

Nice, I went long to help but also hunt some deep water at times with kids and nasty winds that come up outa know where so I needed to be safe. I have been in a full floatation boat full of water before and not fun it may still float, kinda but your dead in the water and the first thing to quit working is the electrical stuff so you better have a bucket. HaHa. So I thought Prodrive SBX would be awesome and pretty dang safe. The trade off is the weight. But I would rather loose allittle to gain allot I don't wanna drown any youth hunters. |

Do you really need 20ft? An 1854 with some minor mods to the motor might be a better option. |

I went with a 20 cause everyone told me it would help get it on step quicker. And KP had the material in stock and it cost me the same as the 18. So now I got One BAB from Prodrive. ![]() |

Everyone will see this baby running in the Locked-Up DVD next year hunting some stuff out west. I thought about an Excel but decided to go with a thicker hull cause I have fubared a thick Alumaweld hull on a sunken car running the river. |

I dont have any real long runs 3 or 4 miles a day with a load and real shallow at the start and finish of each. 10% percent of the time running the a river not no big river either like you southern boys run a small one that is maybe 100 yards across max. |

I bet it will run 25-26 empty. Maybe 20-22 mph with a 3 man load or so. Depends on how much shit you put in it. Try to keep it light, remember your going from 100hp to 36hp. |

Ya thats the hardest thing about using a boat to hunt from everyone wants to go and bring there own chit then pretty soon your boat is to small and motor to week, but I really like convienance of a mm vs jet don't mind the loss of speed. Just need it to get one step quick. |

Ya, They all have walley boats but I can't stand walleye fishing and duck hunting is way more fun. I run the only flat bottom around. Last year we went fishing and the lakes were flooded bad. All the walleye guys were fishing a shelf that went from 10 foot to 10 inches we drove right past them as they all yelled at us and said it was shallow for a deep v lund not shallow enough for my. |

A 2060PD short side with a single 36 will run 17 mph with 4 guys 220+ lb each and a full hutting load. i bet the 2054 SBX will be running 13-15 with the same load given all the extra metal in it. A 2054 (mine) with heads carb exhaust ran 33 when it was new unloaded and ran 28 loaded down. You could have bout my boat for the same money and got duals....LOL...if you can cancle and you want a boat right now let me know.....i got a 2272 rady for my name!!! |

This is mine viewtopic.php?f=63&t=10153 If you dont want duals this is a bad to the bone rig and you could have a much better build hull that a factory PD rig. viewtopic.php?f=63&t=18428 Later |
