Dropped the boat off yesterday with TXSHOCKWAVE. I am having him fab me up a removable casting deck & removable gigging light bar. I am ready to stab some flatties!

I'll post pics once its 100% done.

Planning on powder coating this one the same as the poling platform he completed previously. I think the deck will be 18" with a step, some rod holders / gig holders etc.

The idea here is that I will have a removable light bar holding my Halogens and then be able to go fishing or remove the whole thing & go riding

You have a nice fishing boat. Do you pole it much? If so, how well does it track in the wind?

Great information! I'll have James fab me up one, any photos you can share on how the mechanism works? I noticed you said you were able to get it to pivot. I have a receiver hitch in my bow already.

I received some update photos from TXSHOCKWAVE over the last few days but as I said I'll post them all at once. I stopped by the shop & the deck looks great. He should have it finished today or tomorrow then it will be off to powder coat!

The deck will utilize a turn buckle to hold it to the front deck. The design was to make it operational with the trolling motor if needed.

Sweet! That is nice and very functional. It doesn't look like it weighs a ton either. Been thinking about something like that myself..
