Well after months of beating around the bush I finally got a mud motor. Ordered a 23 HP high performance mudbuddy with a 40 in shaft from Kieth at setx. Got a lil wait though I'm eager to get it in and go ride. 6 weeks was the estimate but that's what I get for waiting at least it will be in by teal season. |

Well for now just a 16x44 alweld not what I wanted to have to do but it will work for now. Such a light boat should run pretty damn good though. |

I have a buddy that had a 23 LA Special on a 1448 Alweld. I was surprised @ how well it did. 25 mph with 3 ppl. Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday. |

Ya I know but I got the high performance 23 cam Carb exhaust yada yada so it should push my lil ol boat pretty good. |

I just ordered 1 too. Won't get it til August. Having trouble getting Vanguard motors shipped from Japan. |
