i like the look of these boats. the front v is important up here since during most winters we are busting through 2+ ice from december on. the wind can turn fast and the v is good for breaking waves. i had a 12 horse copper head on a 14ft deep v and it was ok. it hunted two great but not so good with three. up in ct, i hunt mainly big tidal rivers, the edges of long island sound, and an odd lake or two. most of the time our ride to the spot consists or negotiating tight turns at planing speeds in very narrow streams.

i was looking at the extreme v 16X52 but would like to add a hunt deck to it. i wouldnt really use it for fishing but would like to take three guys and a dog out. it would be equipped with a 35 horse MM, (not telling the brand dont want another fight over that topic)

i just wish i was closer to more boat places, i was going to buy a phowler sneak last year but they wanted another 500 just to ship it so i had a guy build me a aluminum sneak box. that 11ft boat rips with the copperhead
