 kliebert customs?
Hey guys,
I was wondering who all is running a custom from kliebert and if you have pictures of your boat?
Going to give him a call tomorrow in regards to a possible build and am looking for ideas for length and beam and layout.
Thanks guys!

I run one. I'll post some pics later this afternoon. Did you happen to call him yet?

 Re: kliebert customs?
paint didnt stick to the hull due to him using a new acid wash. It was too diluted when he washed it. He said whenever I get a chance bring it back to him and he'll paint it. Been knowing Mike for a while and he is a great boat builder and honest guy.
Round chine

 Re: kliebert customs?
Woodie, Mike normally puts a long rake on his lontail boats. This helps a great deal when trying to go over logs and other stuff. It keeps the boat from going at a steeper angle when crossing things which in turns kepps the back end from taking on water. due to the long rake the deck is extended futher than most boats so that the gas tanks will fit under it. However with this rake I do lose some speed with light loads due to the lesser surface. My boat runs better with a full icechest and gas tank in the front. The two spud holes in the front makes it easy for quick attachmnets such as trolling motors and winches.
