| Post subject: | installing solid rivets ?? |
fixing to modify a riveted boat and will need to remove some rivets and install new rivets(roughly 40 total). i want to use domed head solid rivets but not sure of the tools i need. due to the number of rivets that need to be done i want to buy the right tools to fix it properly. anybody got any advise? |

do i need a concave die for the head of the rivet? |

When put them in my airboats. We just use a air hammer with a flat tool on it with the boat flipped over. Some body on top with air hammer. Some body underneath with 2 lb hammer or bigger holding backup while you hammer from top |
