Buddy of mine is a pro painter and said he would do my rig for free if I just supply the paint. Problem is I have no idea what kind or brand. Any suggestions for what paint to put on aluminum with a gravity fed spray gun?

If you spray your boat (Base Coat) with Imron then spay your camo (via rattle can) after the Imron tacks off, the camo will integrate in the imron and you'll have the toughest paint job ever. if done right it will be the last time you paint it.

Where can you buy Imron? And can it be mixed in any color???

duralux aluminum paint. only one color (green). Same paint go-devil uses on thier boats.

I will agree to that. Duralux is good stuff...just got finished painting my boat and it turned out great.

I just painted my boat with crossfire etching primer from Napa auto parts store and put the camo pattern over top of it.

Bass Pro sells boats paints. I used them and they're not bad.
