 Hydroturf Seconds
How many of y'all have bought the hydro turf seconds? On their website it says that it has holes and not to wear with boots because it is thinner, and is not as durable. Those of you who have it, is this true? How big of holes are we talking? Is it worth the extra $$$ to get the real stuff instead of the clearance turf?
Thanks for the help.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
Mine didn't have any holes in it at all. I didn't notice any flaws. I've only been out in the boat five or six times since I put it in, and it was hot so no boots. Seems to be fine, I'm not too worried about tearing it up. Seems tough. See how it handles duck season, that will be the true test.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
Bought some last fall and didn't put it in the boat. Sold the boat before I got a chance to install it. I do like it but it does have a heavier brushing to it than what GT sells. Kinda like you brushed over it with a wire brush. I don't see why it wouldn't hold up just as good as the 1st quality stuff. I will put it in my next boat.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
Have any of you guys actually had problems or know anyone who has? The "seconds" that I got look great and seem pretty tough so far.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
Buy the seconds you will be happy. Remember it's on the floor of your boat.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
I'm in the market for a sheet so if someone is getting one let me know I'll chip in and meet at Caddo or LA Mud Run & pick it up.
I don't care whether its the regular or clearance its going on the platform

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
I have my scraps of the good stuff (duk grass camo) if some one wants to buy it. Let me know and I can bring it to Caddo.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
From hydroturf. Doesn't look like they have anything but some black and pink crap in the seconds right now though.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
I been running the seconds for 4 years and no problems. I did buy a new sheet last year and the finish has that brushed look. It has held up just the same. The original was the molded diamond. The other sheet had to have been the cut diamond. 2 different finishes.

 Re: Hydroturf Seconds
The MM industry has ruined getting "the good deal" on HT. Was 30.00 a sheet just a few years ago.
