 Spud pole pictures???
I am going to add spud pole fittings to the corners of the boat and wondered if anyone had pictures of theirs they did after the fact? Main use will be for a winch but would use it at times for spud pole too. Also, what diameter 1.5" - 2"?
Boat is a PD 1754....any help is appreciated. I have welder lined up but don't really know what to tell him I want.
Thanks.

 Re: Spud pole pictures???
Thanks WEA...would you trust using a winch with those spud pole holders just bolted on there? Come on someone has to have some pictures of some welded ones they did. I found one picture down in the for sale page but not sure I like the location of the front ones and those are the ones I am wanting to see.

I wouldn't winch off the back, just the front where there should be adequate support for a winch. Whomever does your spud pole will confirm this. I'm not going to speak of the structural soundness of your rig or if it would even hold. Please ask a fabricator / builder.

My old GD with the "add on" spud pole sockets. IMAG0128.jpg IMAG0127.jpg
My new Uncle J with the same style spud pole sockets. Not a close up, but you can get the idea. IMAG0213.jpg

 Re: Spud pole pictures???
Thanks guys, looks good and gives me some ideas. I didn't think about cutting into the railing.
Last question...what diameter pipe should I use? Keep in mind this will be used more for a winch than a pole.
