Ok y'all, I've got my Gator Tail ordered and I'm patiently waiting for it, but I'll need a blind to go on it. I duck hunt just about every chance that I can during the season, so I'm looking for the best blind in terms of operation and construction. I'm also hoping not to pay an arm and a leg for it.

Any recommendations?

I made a blind for my boat for about 70 bucks, its low profile, easy to put up and conceals you.... but it may look a little too niggery for a new Gator-Tail Boat.

Poker1 made his own, very badass, or LA Outlaw makes and sells them.

I learned along time ago, you get what you pay for with a blind. The "out of the box one size fits all" blinds are cheap, but after a few seasons they fall apart in most cases. There are alot of nice blinds out there, just be sure the one you get is heavy built enough to last.

I've had great luck with the original PopUp brand blinds. I have experience hunting the same blind for over 20 years before I bought my own. They are not "one size fits all". They might not be for everyone, but they are lightweight and tough as hell.

The downside is that they are expensive, but I felt that I got what I paid for.

I bought mine from Gator-Tail... Best design I have seen very easy up & down. It's lasted 3 years now and still good as new. Blind is very light & can be removed by 1 person in no time.

Spend the money and get the one from gator tail. Tried that build your own mess before, that ones built to match your rig, just change out the hardware to stainless on the clamps if ya hunt salt water.

Looks like I'll be going with Gator Tail as long as it's reasonable. I tried to build a blind for my airboat and that turned out to be a complete nightmare.

Does anyone know how much they cost? I can't find boat blinds on their website.
