 Bow mount TM Question

Post Bow mount TM Question
I am gonna put a bow mount on the Weldbilt and the bracket is on the side. I have seen alot of guys put theres on like this just wondering if it makes the boat track way off or does it matter. plan on spider rigging for crappies

Leave your motors lower unit in the water and it'll track straight
