Just curious how people are routing their bilge pump outlet. Not real sure where i want to put mine. It would be easiest to come out of the hunt deck but if i come out the side of the hunt deck then it is to close to the water line in my opinion. And i didn't want to come out of the top of the hunt deck b/c when i put it in reverse water comes up on it. Do they make any kind check valve for a bilge pump. Any ideas would be appreciated. |

Just come up past your huntdeck and put it through the side of the boat. |

The motor doesn't hit trust me i have tested it, but it is close. The hunt deck is closed in for the most part. I really didn't want to cut a hole from the hunt deck to the inside of the boat and then another hole through the side of the boat unless that is the only option. |

Please enlighten me i don't understand how it can hit other than the handle which doesn't matter b/c its not fixed. If i tilt the motor up in any trimmed position nothing hits, so unless what ever stops it from tilting up anymore breaks then i don't see how it can go any further. If this isn't the case then let me know. |

Sko, I was responding to OwenDickeson comment about the motor hitting the boat. Sorry for the confusion. |

I just realize there is usually a panel covering the part of the hunt deck that is open. yeah CB I fu<ked up, but i think you are the only one that saw it. lol edit: sko saw it too, lol edit #2: apparently CB saved the pic immediatly because it is badass. |

Well now my only suggestion is to cut a notch out of the top left of your panel, or do away with the panel all together. |

Why not drill a hole just to the side of the panel and run it just like the pic you posted? Any reason that wouldn't work? |

I have 1 other suggestion, but it would take a picture from the back of the boat facing the false transom for me to correctly illustrate. haha |

Clay, Yeah i hear you but i was hoping there was another way to make it a little cleaner looking. I just don't like to rig stuff, and then later on realize that there was a much better way to achieve the same thing. |

Can you access inside of that wall on the port side of the boat? Is that a gun/rod box? If so, cut a hole from the bulkhead on the huntdeck and go inside of that compartment. It would be basically the same principle as what they drew, but it would be concealed so you wouldnt have to look at it all the time. |

Will it be an automatic bilge, or manual? |

BoatDR, That's pretty good that you were able to infer all of that from those pics and yes you are right, but my problem is that the space is so small that i need the bilge outlet that attaches to the boat to be an elbow but it is straight so i don't have enough room in there. I have looked around and i can't find the an elbow outlet. Got an ideas where i might find one? |

Woodiebuster, It will be manually controlled from the switch box you see in one of those photos. |

duckduckboom, Are you saying that you have seen an elbow bilge outlet? If thats the case then somebody has to have them. I guess i need to do some more searching. |

Just keep a hose hooked to it and keep it in the hunt deck, when you get ready to drain the hull pull the hose out and hang it over the side. You don't walk around with your dick hangin out, so why have a hose stickin out ya boat all the time if it ain't pissin? |
