Post Bottom coating on hull?
I'm sure its been discussed before but I'm looking for the name of the paint on coating for the bottom of the hull to"toughen" it up a little bit

Steel flex is tougher than most people think. I had it on 3 boats, one being an airboat, and I never chipped it. I dont jump rocks and stupid sh!t either though. The airboat ran dry ground and I crossed downed trees and what not with no problems. All in all, I treat my boat like a boat. If ya gonna be on mud, grass, and the occasional stump, you wont have problems if its prepped and applied right. Steel flex can be applied thick as hell. the others are like a coat of paint. Go figure which one wears faster. Steel Flex is the sh!t. I dont know about the gator glide or whatever it is. Never heard of that one yet. But if its thin like paint, its gonna wear just like a coat of paint.

yeah i figgered it would but hitting stumps and such the steel flex may chip may not , but if it does then u lose proformace , where the g2 will wear like paint but not hurt the proformace any ,and have to re coat ,i have a cc pd rig and derigging flipping the boat to apply is a pain,
i am easy on it , and this stuff can be rolled on with the boat off the tralier gonna try it , let ya know, this was made for airboats also .

Where can I order steel flex? Does it come with good prep and application instructions? This is going on an old p.o.s boat I picked up really cheap the other day maybe will help me get a year out of it hunting then will be the dedicated carp boat

fasco epoxies. look em up online. you have to either mail them a check or order it COD. The instructions are prett simple and if you have any questions they were easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions. They also make a filler that goes under the steelflex if you have any dents etc.
