this is a new 18"X54" boat being built by Custom-Aluminum-Works (Percy Brown) out of Gonzales, LA designed by Rick James. 1/8" metal thru-out (6) 1"X2" stringers, extended deck, walk-thru seating, and pleanty of storage. I'll keep adding pics along the way it will be powered by a 35hp GDSD

That's what I was thinking Slinger; looks like it could be a heavy boat for a stock motor.

Been there and done that.

Post subject:  Re: new boat by: Custom Aluminum Works

I used the duralux aluminum boat green, never put anything over it. It holds up ok for a cheap single stage paint. The only part that has problems is the rails around the sides that rub against stuff. It chips fairly easy.

Now what are all the pipes for?

This is a tough crowd. I like it. Interesting ,chines taper at bottom/back of the boat. Will This help in the turn? How much do you think it will weigh?
