Post When fishing from your gatortail boats??
Hey guys got a question, I do alot of bass fishing After duck season in the ms delta and wanted to know how well the gatortail boat will track behind the trolling motor while fishing. The boat I'm looking at is the 1754 with 35 gtr.

Thanks

It will be like any other flat bottom boat would do. Will not track straight like a bass boat.

So I guess it would be similar to my xpress duck boat with the HD hull?

I don't have any problems as long as the motor is in the water to keep back end strait

What works for me, an old Cajun trick drag a chain behind the boat, works well on flat bottoms,

The problem is keeping the damn motor straight. The motor always goes one way or the other. Stabilize in the middle and it makes it much easier
