I have a 1648 bass tracker that I am stripping and converting to use a mud motor. I plan on going with a 27 hp mud buddy or go devil. |

We've got one that has a 27 beavertail lt, works great, but scottfarm's link is now my next motor after seeing that! |

I ran a 27 mud buddy mini on a 1648 alumacraft for a couple of years. It ran mid 20s with a lite load and wasn't too bad for 2 people. With that being said, you will find yourself wanting a true mud boat soon after running the alumacraft. |
