what kind of performance can i expect out of each of these boats set up the same witha 36hp PD. Also never had a mud motor before how are the on gas compared to my mercury 25hp that i was running |

You'll get better mileage out of the PD when compared to a 25 merc. As far as the hulls I'd go with either a 1760, 1852, 1860 depending if your hunting any flood timber or fishing out of it quite a bit. But if you really need a 16 footer, I'll sell ya my 1652. |

Performance will be close to the same but the 17 footer will carry a large load a little better just because of the extra surface area and I would think the extra foot would help it plane a little easier. The extra foot will also help a little going over waves. It's only 12 inches (that's what she said) so the difference won't be too big but the extra room is always nice. |

1860 might as well get what you will want in two years. |
