Gonna be wirin up da new boat soon as it gets here. Any a y'all ever run a single main power en ground line to da switch panel and lines out from der? I really don't wanna run individual lines fer each part from my battery to my switch en back out again. If so, what kinda switch panel ya use?

I'm lookin ta run just a single power and ground wire from da front a da boat to da rear where my switch panel will be. I wanna split da power from der ta each individual switch. I'm wonderin if anyone makes a switch panel dat ya can hook just them two wires ta and it sends power ta each switch on dat board. Otherwise I gotta split it before da board ta each switch or worst case run a wire for every switch from da battery back which would suck.

1) there are dozens of manuacturers that make pannels which are pre wired. Some even come with individual breakers or fuses for each switch too. Like this http://bluesea.com/category/105/84/productline/120

2) But there arent any (good marine ones that is) that have a bus bar made onto them. in that case, get one of these and mount it a couple inches away from the switch pannel, and jump all your negatives off of it. http://bluesea.com/category/82/35

3) how big of a switch pannel are you looking for (how many switches)?

Wow. Dis chit is really hard I guess.

Ok, I'll break er down.

I don't wanna have ta run a power wire ta every freakin switch on da panel. I wanna run just one power wire and one ground wire to da switch panel and split it from der.

So, my question is, does anyone know if a switch panel is available that will connect a single power and ground wire and then distribute da power to all da switches from der?

Tried ta make dat post clear as possible. I know my lingo's a bit phucked up but dat should do er.

Thanks again. Looks like dats the route I'll be takin. At least I know they don't offer one pre installed on a panel. Have ta set it up separately.

This is the one that I used. You can just run one power wire to switch. It is also well built and low profile and doesnt have the toggle switches that can get broken off. Also backlit with leds.
There is a video on istallation too

got mine on clearance at academy for 40 bucks
