Ive heard 1846 GT is a good runner. Just curious with a stock 35gt how well it handles a heavy load?

 Re: 1846 GTB W/ stock 35gt?
I have the 18x46 gator-tail boat w/ hunt deck, 7 1/2 foot rod box & dry storage box w/ 35GTR w/ performance exhaust & 12 inch wheel w/ 11 pitch & a 9 gallon tank w/ the split front deck and i wouldnt have it any other way. I picked up this rig in mid december and already have 38 hours on it..... by myself w/ a full tank i got 30.4 max and average 29.5..... 2 man load & all gear runnin an average around 28. Guided a hunt in buras the last day of the season for a buddy which put me at my heaviest haul yet.... 4 men, 1 dog, 4 dozen decoys and all the rest of the gear and averaged 25.8!! i was very pleased and love my rig!! Im bringing my rig back to gator-tail soon and getting the makuni carb, cam & head work..... should see top speed around 34-35 LET ME KNOW WHAT YALL THINK!! FEED BACK APPRECIATED IN ADVANCE!!

 Re: 1846 GTB W/ stock 35gt?
AllTerrian, The boat got on step with no problems.... now grant it, nothing like me by myself, but I was very suprised!! We had to cross the river and ride through alot of cuts with alot of bad current and it handled it GREAT. I was contemplating the night before on how stable it would be with this type of load, but it wasnt tipsy one bit. With everything still in the boat.... we all picked up 4 dozen decoys and there were times that i caught 3 of us reaching on one side and never caught any water!! I have 4 buddies that all have the 17x54 gator-tail boat, but i think its to wide for my taste. Im the only person i know around my area with this size boat and the 18x46 is the all around perfect boat in my eyes for speed, manuvering, and carrying the loads i run!!
