15x44 Roughneck
New to the forum. Let me just say that they have a ton of information on this forum that I can learn from. I'm in the process of fixing up my 15x44 roughneck. took motor off and everything else off for painting. Well I guess I didn't read further on this forum or I missed it, but I painted my boat and paint is not sticking. Sanded and pressure washed entire boat inside and out. Coating looks good from a distance but you can peel the coating off with your fingernail. I used Glidden flat green paint from Home Depot (I know, cheapo). Then after all was said and done. Someone from the forum replied to my plea for help. I should have acid washed the old coating, apply a zinc primer, them coat with a top coat of my choice.
Looking for suggestions on a top coat that is durable.
