Post my new boat
it's all welded up as of yesterday. it's 1/8 and were going to put a hunt deck, lids, 2 seat bases, flotation, paint job, beer holders, and all the trimmings this weekend. i'm going to put my new 27hp mblt on it this weekend too...didn't cost me anything except materials. spent 1050.00 on aluminum, and 250 on the bells n whistles. i got the '08 27 mblt with 160hrs on it for 1500.00. The guy had just spent 480.00 getting all the bushings and seals redone and had a brand new prop with an hour or so on it. :D i am a happy fukn guy!

Why didnt you build the HD into the boat instead of adding it after. Not make to much sense........... Looks like you riveted the floor in and then welded that center seat across it. :?:

i wasnt gonna add a hd, but decided i want one...my potna's not gettin paid for building it, so guess he said fuck it and riveted the floor on! that's ok, if it breaks, he'll fix it...it was already water jet cut and sitting at his house, so as cheap as it was, why not ya know?

Looks real solid, is that a 44" bottom width? I love my 27 MBLT (2004), very reliable and powerful motor for my needs. I like the original treadplate heat shield- I've only had to replace my stock muffler- decided to get another stock muffler- the stainless steel one is too expensive. Oh yeah, I broke the throttle cable a couple of years ago, replaced that and bought a backup- I guess I stretched the cable a bit too much when I advanced the throttle. I have a 1648, wish I could build a custom hull, flat bottom, say 1848, in .100 gauge, open floor plan- I know the .125 is more durable but we don't have that many obstacles here and I would like a more lightweight "speed" hull for the LT. I installed hydroturf and I highly recommend that to cover the floor- bought a tan camo closeout piece 47"x86" for 50$ that will do my main floor.
