That's what I had when I started with a 27hp mm. It did ok, but after seeing the difference in performance between it & a 1644 GD hull with same motor, no way I'd do it again. I picked up 2 mph & the handling was not even in the same ball park. The rear bench is filled with water logged foam, & hull is VERY stern heavy. The transom will need to be reinforced to take the abuse, which is going to give you more obsticles in the back of the boat to trip over. All in all, I'd honestly recommend if you're gonna get a stamped out, mass-production hull, you should get about a 1642 Alweld. They're a lil lighter hull, & the few I've seen seemed to do ok. If at all possible, find a used mud boat hull, you'll be the happiest with it.

If you have already sold yourself on this boat then what does it matter what advice people give you? Your gonna buy it anyway. So just post up a review for others when you get it all put together. Good luck.
