Been throwing around the ideal of building a mud boat
I have found a vendor close to where I live that has 5052 4ftx16ftx.125 diamond plate aluminum sheets
Have any of you ever used the diamond plate on the outside before?
If i have to I can flip it to the inside of the boat !
I'm afraid it might add drag to the boat

And is 300.00 a sht a good price?

I definetly wouldnt put it on the outside, and on the inside you may have a hard time laying your runners over it.

yeah, that would be way to much drag for a boat, wouldnt get nearly close to the speed you would get using a reg sheet. it would be better to put the diamond on the inside if you decide to use diamond plate. I think it would look just plain tacky on the outside also lol.
