Post Blind chairs...?
Had a few issues with sitting on a cooler this past year and with no back support and a bad back sitting on a cooler intensifies it. What seats are you all using in your boat blinds?

I saw this one just browsing around.... $38

Anyone have any experience with this before I upgrade from the POS Prowler Bass Pro shop seat frames... Was thinking of doing the buckets to keep boat more organized with shooters gear.

also saw these but they are double the cost... $79

I have been using the quad pedestals for two seasons now, and they work pretty good. Mount a seat base on the pedestal so you can move your seats from boat to pedestal upon set up. They stack easy so you can stick em in a corner during boat rides.

I hear you on the sore back deal. I use the camo "Directors Chair" from Academy. Use in the boat and hunting in the timber when the water is not to deep. They are comfortable, light weight and can be carried and used anywhere. The cross bar keeps it from sinking in all but the soopiest mud. I have set out in an open pond with just a couple willow branches stuck in the ground next to the chair and smoked some duck birds by just being still.

I've been using one like this the past few years and liking it. Mine doesn't have the side pockets and they run about $40 instead of $50. Waterproof up to the lid so you can store all kinds of crap in there and with the carry strap carry it around and sit in the mud, etc. for hunting too. It has a swivel on the seat too. Works great for me.

I mounted some seat bases on the bottom of 5 gallon buckets. When I get to where I am hunting I take the seats out of my boat and put them on the bucket. And if'in the water or grass is a little high I will also use the seat post to get yerself up a little higher

You can build your own quad chair with 3/4 rigid pipe - a swivel base - and seat for less than $40 each. I have 2 that the guy I bought the boat from gave me. I have made 1 other so we can hunt 3 folks out of the boat if needed.

That bucket chair looks cool, I bet it's tipsy though. I like the storage concept of it, I hate crap in my boat (like stationary seats).
