 Consoles...
Gonna have a single GTR 18x60 10" walk arounds, and would like to see some layout designs ideas on your consoles. Different things that you might store inside, shelf ideas etc.. I have a design idea but just wanting to see others ideas.

 Re: Consoles...
In my opinion the two most thought out and versatile rigs would be the center console gator tail dials rig that was posted in BRINKLYS post about dual controls, and BENGTR's old rig that he built.

 Re: Consoles...
Sorry, no pics just suggestions/observations. My mud boat is a tiller rig, but I have considered a console as I have them on other outboards. I think the most important thing to have on a CC mud rig is a heavy round grab bar that is the tallest thing on the console. If you wack something and are thrown forward, you don't want to land on the edge of the windshield or the top of the control knobs, and you don't want to rely upon your steering wheel as the only hand hold.
Other nice options would be a fire extinguisher recess built into the outside of the console, drains on any shelves that you install (be sure one shelf does not drain into the next), sufficient room (AND ACCESS) for a proper electrical bus and fuse/breaker panel (nothing worse than having to stick your head in the damned console to work on the wiring), seat with storage underneath on the front of the console (space permitting). Having the seat in center of the boat helps balance the boat when only you and a passenger are aboard.
Depending on where and how you use your boat, you may also want a place to charge your phone or other devices that is protected from the weather, or perhaps even a dock for your smartphone that will tie it into your stereo, if you mess with that sort of stuff.
