Any one running the new step chine hull with a 36PD? Was considering having one built but wasn't sure about how the PD would perform on the new step chine hull. Talked to Hoyt and he said they would build one with the 15 deg transom but I am a little nervous spending that kind of money without actualy being able to test one out before I ordered it that way? Any thoughts? DO's / Dont's and Why's.............. Better yet anyone yall know already tried this? |

Jason, They just released that model, so I doubt anyone is running that combo yet. I think it would run fine as long as the transom angle is right and the right height. You ought to go ahead and bite the bullet on the 36 PD motor and take it over to GT and see if they will let you hang it on an extreme. Transom angle would be off a little for a demo but ought to give you an idea of how it would run...... |
