Post subject:  Foam in boat

Besides taking the foam out for good is there anything you can use to seal up the foam that is in the bottom of the boat so that it doesn't absorb as much water. The tops and bottom of the foam are sealed,but it is on the sides that don't seem to be sealed and that allow the foam to really absorb water. Any thoughts on this.

Hey, you've got a SDB hull right? Did they bend the side panels over the floor panels in your hull?
When I went to pull the floor panels up to replace the foam I damn near had to tear the boat apart to get the floor panels up.
As for sealing the white foam under there......nope. You're gonna have to get it out and put Dow Duramate or somthing like that down.
