Just out of curiosity-no lies here- How fast are you guys running your prodrives? 27 hp and 36s?? Lets hear it

I'll start with mine. I run a 16x48 polarkraft with a stock 27pd. My best speed was runnin 26 steady for 10-15 minutes, no wind. I normally run 24-25 empty and 20-21 with another guy and few things(total load, including myself-500 lb)

Mine has bumped 90 a few times and even went airborne once at a lil over 70.

1856 Phowler Extreme with a 36 PD Stage 1 upgrade...31 mph with fishing gear and 2 people. 24-25 mph with dekes and 3 people.

when i had my 17x54 PD i did 33.44mph, with a stage1 from evt with a hopkins cleaver, it was a 32PD btw.

i run 29 empty in mine...

my buddy just put a custom cut billet cam, heads decked 55 thousanths, and intake work with stock carb turning a 12x14 prop. running 34mph empty

The best I have run is just over 34mph with a light load in a 1844 GD hull. Motor had heads, carb, intake, cam, and exhaust with no governor tho.

Best I've done is 28 in deep water with 2 people. Never GPS in shallow water but with a fresh prop I should be 30-32 mph

27 PD I've hit 26. My prop is wore bad now so I'll have ta see what it does next spring with a new one. I've also done heads since I took the speed test.

Will's is pretty dang fast but it totes a load most impressive. I have had my new boat out a couple of times and it will do 28 with 2 folks and dogs, 30 with just me but that was with a 11 1/4 inch prop. Just put the new one on today so should see some improvement.
