What ya need to know. If your not trimming deep enough, make sure you are on bottom pin

You got it, its on bottom pin, belt housing is about two inches from bottom but i can do shit in shallow water. Big blade prop 12" measured. I feel like im not getting to dig down deep enough bc i spray muddy water everywhere!

I'm at work but can when I get home. But short/tall transom should be the same at the bottom of the boat.

Beings his signature says Ribbed Boat, I can pretty much guarantee that it is a 16 degree transom. Not enough angle.

You need to shim outside top out about 1/4" or so. Then ya problem will be resolved.

When I had my ribbed boat I ran my GTR with the pin in the bottom hole. I was able to trim up to just the right height for the prop to be 1/2 out and down enough to dig out in the shallows.

I hope this helps.

Its an 1650 xpress. When i bought it, it already had shims but they are in the inside ...... gonna change that and see. Also it stays on the bottom hole. Thanks for the replies!
