What ya need to know. If your not trimming deep enough, make sure you are on bottom pin |

You got it, its on bottom pin, belt housing is about two inches from bottom but i can do shit in shallow water. Big blade prop 12" measured. I feel like im not getting to dig down deep enough bc i spray muddy water everywhere! |

I'm at work but can when I get home. But short/tall transom should be the same at the bottom of the boat. |

Beings his signature says Ribbed Boat, I can pretty much guarantee that it is a 16 degree transom. Not enough angle. You need to shim outside top out about 1/4" or so. Then ya problem will be resolved. |

When I had my ribbed boat I ran my GTR with the pin in the bottom hole. I was able to trim up to just the right height for the prop to be 1/2 out and down enough to dig out in the shallows. I hope this helps. |

Its an 1650 xpress. When i bought it, it already had shims but they are in the inside ...... gonna change that and see. Also it stays on the bottom hole. Thanks for the replies! |
