anyone ever or know anyone who has ever ran a 27 PD w/FPR on a 1236 boat?

I'm almost done buildin a 1236 mini skiff for beaver ponds and smaller areas I hunt but one main place I'm gonna use it is fairly grown up with veggies and thinkin Longtail or a SD with reverse especially FPR to be able to cut trails out in reverse

Main thing I'm worried bout with the PD is the weight...Have kicked around the idea of a 23 GTR but dang they are expensive and havent seen many for sale then get down to a MB 14 and no offense to the GD boys just the GDSD are too heavy being all steel...then my next idea is building longtail with aluminum frame

Longtail would be better in some areas because they are stumpy but just dont know if want to sacrifice that aspect for reverse

this is a project boat and could be project motor that will actually end up getting used for hunting and sure some folks have had he same type of idea once or twice so any help or advice is appreciated
