I am getting a PD boat next month and noticed that they have a option for a pointed bow on their website. I have never seen one and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I thought it might make the ride across the open lake a little more smooth but was wondering if it would hurt my shallow water performance any? |

pointed bow just means its not a square nose so when running timber and you bounce off trees easier instead of faceplantin All it is is a square nose boat then they add 3-4" pipe to make the point looks dang good and highly recomended but it does not effect the ride |

Pointed Bow and V bottom are not the same thing. |

like mentioned above, a pointed bow boat and a v bottom or semi v are two different things. better ride in rough water - thank the v bottom. as mentioned the pointed bow helps a lot when running through timber. also consider, with a pointed bow u lose about a foot of usable deck space. i have a pointed bow and like it. like the way it looks, dont run trees. if i had a boat built, i would prob get a reg straight bow because it just makes the deck bigger. |

Those things look similiar to the Grumman sport boat or a flat back canoe, you could even make them look like a tug boat if ya would put more rake into them and hang a couple tires off the front. |

Good lookin ride and the Nat gear kicks a$$. How'd you get them to do the nat gear pattern, Peck says they won't do anything else but the grass. |

Prodrive only does one paint scheme... there's another guy in the area that does custom paint jobs like that. I suspect he did it, although I never talk to him, so I don't know. I think it's Camodesigns. Ask Peck how to get ahold of him when they build your boat. Also, ask Peck if Kevin Ledford might be interested in doing a custom camo job. |
