 Airboat Hull With Longtail
Just wondering if anyone has tried say a 13' or 14' x 7' lightweight airboat hull with a longtail, like around a 23 h.p. ? Looking to hunt some very thick mud that most other rigs can't navigate out here. Thanks in advance. Jen

Oh my gawd I think you may be the first female MMT member! Naw, ain't tried it, no airboats around here because they are illegal part of the year. Don't see why it wouldn't though.

Drake1 - EVT a sponsor here has experience with small motors on those hulls with the fan...
But a smooth hull should slide well with a 23 longtail - might be a bit wide in the stumps - but sounds very doable if the weight is 600 lbs or less on the hull empty....
