None of the custom paint jobs I have seen on this site match my area. Does anyone have a swamp grass/sawgrass type paint job. Mostly see you guys start with a brown base color then brown reeds or grass. Anyone have a green based camo pattern ? |

Rudy, The lady who does the camo paint jobs for Alumitech Airboats has my boat now and she is (hopefully) putting together something for me similar to what you're looking for; I avoided all of the brown/gray based colors on here for the same reason you have. http://www.lockstockbarrell.com It should be done in a week. I'll let you know how it turns out. I ordered my paint from Lock Stock & Barrel; colors #35 Olive drab (base), #18 olive, and #26 Camo light brown, with #18 being more prominent than #26. http://www.lockstockbarrell.com/PDF-08/ ... 090129.pdf The girl who is doing it has a website: http://www.painterchic.com/services/ As I dropped the boat off, she was telling me that wraps are actually cheaper and the ones from Realtree and MossyOak are warranteed for life for fading. Might want to enquire about that as well. |

It hangs all most to the waterline. |

I haven't hunted the lake in years Sling, but I'll be back this year. I can only speak from when I used to hunt there in the late 90s and early 2000s, but I always used fronds and for us the key was always staying as low-profile as possible. Thus, we never used pop-ups. |

I went with the cheapo spray can primer green. Bonded extremely well. Did an OK camo job. Also built a removable custom blind out of aluminum. Came out real nice but it's hard to hide a big boat. Give me a heads up so we can run the lake. PS Eljefe your boat is bad ass Thanks !! |
