I am fixing to start the process of building my own hull. My question is about the sides of the hull. I don't want 45 degree sides, and was looking for what angle most builders put on their boats. Boat will either be 16x42 or 17x42 with hunt deck and 21'' sides. |

Figure out what beam width you want. I do about a 60-62" beam width on a 48" wide boat with 18" sides. We went about 64" on a 48" wide with 21" sides. I think it equals out to about 20-22 degrees. Sent from my beeper. |

My last one was 48" bottom, 21" sides, and 69" beam. Performance crimp. It had a beautiful shape. |
