Not so much anymore, older ones were bad. But I wouldn't exclude em completely

I don't think the foam soaks up water but there are a lot of voids where water gets trapped under the floor and can't get out.My f4 never drys out ever.............I put the tongue of the trailer 6' up in the air for 2 weeks in 90 degree heat and it will never dry out.And there gun box and other storage compartments are not water tight at all. Basically stay away from excel boats they are shit i wish i would have never bought mine!!

Thats crazy, I absolutely love mine, and my gun box is 100% watertight. I have the 1651 tho

Pulled wet water logged foam out of 2011, 2012 and a 2013 model for guys this year, unless they changed late this year it is still a problem. Foam added over 210 lbs to 1754 boat wet.
