Post Shark eyes?
Stupid question I am sure.... but do shark eyes need to be "cut" into the sides of a boat? I would like to get a set of shark Eyes lights for my 1860 Phowler boat but not excited to drill a large hole in my sides....

If so, where can get a good pair of nav and anchor LED lights? I don't want incandescent.

Most of us just gorilla glue them to the side of the boat.

They have to be cut in and drill holes to bolt them. You can get the ones that just mount on the side but they will not be flush with the boat. But you still have to drill holes for bolts and for the wires.

Just run the wires over the top of the gunnels. They'll be fine.

I used JB Weld to hold mine on, works great as long as you run smooth open water.

I don't need them "City Boy" features.

It carries all them Mallard Ducks just fine!

It was the absolute hardest thing for me to do was cut them holes!! I rigged out everything and put it off until it was the only thing left to do. I'm glad I did, because they look awesome.
I was going to use a plasma cutter, but didn't feel like waiting a few days. I cut the holes with a drill and jigsaw, and added clear sealer underneath for added protection.
