O.k. Im new to the MM scene,(always ran outboard) and newly Married, and as my wife watches complete crap on tv at night. Help me in the right direction to start to learn more about these motors and boat combos. Also, is there anything you would do different when you got a boat and wish you did different. OR can I learn from any of your mistakes?

Welcome to the site. Just keep reading....listening....use the search feature on here and google search questions to find answers from the previous database that won't show up with the new database search engine. Just start your search with mudmotortalk as part of the search phrase.

This may take a while....but learn to separate bias and BS from good advice.

An easy filter is check the post count of the person giving the advice....the higher the count, the higher the chances of bias and BS!

Most of all....have a sense of humor and thick skin.
