Re: Gatorglide.
Tperkins has inspired me to start a, What can you" Slide across GatorGlide?" video contest. Not sure how to structure or judge it fairly so looking for some input. Thinking first prize winner for best video would get some GatorGlide and maybe some runners up could get some GatorGlide t-shirts (out of t-shirts right now, looking to find a local T-shirt shop/printer.) Lots of guys a have asking to buy some so they will be on the website when I get some. Suggestions on rules and judging? Maybe a poll for best video? Is this even ok to do on here? If not please chime in Tony and I'll shut up!..

Re: Gatorglide.
I can change the thread title and people can post their videos on this thread, then after an allotted time you can make your judgment. You can judge based on creativity of the item slid, best catch, trick shots, ect.. I think its fair for you to judge since you are the one giving the prizes away.
Or you can just give the original video all the prizes....

Re: Gatorglide.
I think you guys should be the judges. Does anyone know how to set up the vote count thing? Maybe one of the administrators, set up so a guy can only vote once for one guy but can vote for more than one guy? If not we'll have to come up with a panel of 7 judges. Because I'm the guy giving it away is why I can't be the judge! The judges should be clear thinking, deep pondering, unbias...aaa ...aaa..Im thinking jimmy for a nominee!!! owe yea I think there should be a level in the shot to keep it honest. Tad excluded cause his shot has already been made.

Re: Gatorglide.
Man y'all want to corrupt the contest! Maybe we should have two categories, one we can show the kids the winner and one r rated. Video guide lines Titles must contain GatorGlide (for the web site) No longer than 10 sec No profanity ( web site) r rated one ok Level in shot Absolutely no shot of coots or others balls ( kids, web site) That being said maybe we could just keep it PG... I just got the piss shivers

[quote="TPerkins"] You can judge based on creativity of the item slid, best catch, trick shots, ect..[quote] I like TP ideas a lot but that easy for the guys just applying with the boat flipped. Not so for the guys that don't flip there boats or have already done so. There has to be 2 categories to make it fair so we'll have to forfeit the R rated one in the name of fairness. I like the load and unload thing, I think this can get pretty creative and be beneficial for the guys having a problem with the two.

Re: Gatorglide.
Thanks Finn, and yes it is. Son shot it with his air rifle, first thing he killed with a gun. Took the time to show him cleaning, eating, and tanning the hide process to teach the usefulness of the game. To say the least I've got a lot of squirrel pelts laying around the garage.

Re: Gatorglide.
This hunting season I watched three boats come off on the land using gator glide. One was a brand new gator tail at Lake Bouef boat lunch. Swamp Rat and I saw it. I was sick to my stomach for the guy. The motor slammed into the cement.

Probably wouldn't have even attempted hunting the place in this picture if it weren't for GG. It just slid right up on and off the trailer!
