 2014 gator tail trolling motor issue
I have recently purchased a 2014 1754 extreme with the pointed bow and swamp lights a winch mount receiver and a trolling motor bracket I have a minn kotta 54 lb thrust power drive and it doesn't seem to be able to mount on the boat I was wondering how some of yall mounted your trolling motors

Is it a clamp on tm or a bow mount? Rev nuts work well

bow mount the prob is the angle of the bow is causing the motor to have to be pushed too far forward

It might help. I'd be great if you could get a pic posted of your set up. The quick release could give you more mounting options.
See how the large plate sits over the small plate. The only thing that's mounted to the boat is the small plate therefore giving your more options on moving it back and forth to fit.
