Post subject: | LED Lightbars |
I've got a remote controll go-light spotlight right now that works pretty good. I duck hunt the MS River alot and would like some more light. Im looking to mount a LED light bar on the top of the grab bar of my center console. This will be above the windshield. The bar is 19" long going across the top of windshield. What light bar do I need to get? Or do I need to get two of the 2x2 LED's? I want something that is goin to put out some pretty bright light so I can dodge anything that needs dodg'in. Any opinions or experiences would be appreciated.... |

I would be concerned about it putting too much light IN the boat. |

I got a couple 7 inch floods and they're nice. Guy I work with brings various sizes to work so he can ship them out on his lunch break. I always hook them up to an inverter and see how bright they are before he ships. The 20s and 33s put out plenty for what your asking about. But like owen said, youll get a LOT of reflection putting it on the console instead of at the front. |

agree with the guys about too much light IN the boat. light bars are awesome but i'd try to keep it as far forward as possible. |

My 21.5" bar puts out 10,200 and it's a single row 10 watt led. My 50" puts out 18,000 it's a double row but some of these new quad rows could be putting out that much. Just wanted to take a look at them |

I would recommend putting a light bar all the way forward. Save up your money and get a ridged light bar. You won't be disappointed one bit. I had a cheaper light bar and there is no comparison. Ridged is the way to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have two of the 8" from southern that I picked up from the sportsman show. I love them. Each bar has two flood and two beam. It lights up everything I could hope to want to see. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |
