 Gator Trax 17x50 Hybrid Build - Progress Pics I told some of y'all I would keep you updated on the new build so here it is. Boat was completed today. Now off to paint and rigging. Will post some more pics when completed.

Re: Gator Trax 17x50 Hybrid Build - Progress Pics I've seen a bunch of custom boats. Like REALLY CUSTOM. And have built several myself. This thing is nice!
Not so hip on the big cat walks but the rest of the boat I think would be awesome to run with. What was the pt of the big cat walks?
The inverted box angles was a smart move! Never thought if it. Seen/built the elevated bench ideas and IMO they work!
All in all a very slick rig!!

Most boats I've built were out of 3/16 and had more braces then I knew what to do with. BUT we use our boats like bulldozers. And I run over everything.

Re: Gator Trax 17x50 Hybrid Build - Progress Pics The removable front deck is a good idea. Lost space during hunting season. The fuel tank in the hd is good also. Getting that weight to the back is the ticket with these hd boats. You better keep this thin-skinned toy out of the spot where we helped with the sunk boat...you will beat it up pretty quick on those knees and stumps. I know this goes w/o saying but post pics when you get rigged & painted.
