Will pods help with speed at all? I have a 15x46 with a 24 LT and am looking to get a little more speed. Anyone got any pointers? |

Normally I would not recommend pods. But wit a longtail and a short boat like yours. Yes, I believe pod will help you. |

Why don't you reccomend pods? I have a 1648 Tracker Grizzly with a 21hp Mud Buddy Hyper and I was thinking about pods to get the back end out of the water and on plane better. Do they cause too much drag? Are there any better options? |

I believe pods should only be put on boats shorter than 15 1/2 ft long. And only wit long tails or possibly surface drive motors wit out reverse. |

I have a 35GTR on my 1860 flotation in her, with a hunt deck so the motor is moved back... Doing this doesn't screw up the reverse and its different then "pods" so I can see where adding pods can screw you up under certain situations. |

ok well i have a 15ft 46 or 48 wide would have to go measure with a 24hp sd on it. Been thinking of pods, what do you all think? Also was worried the boat might be to narrow for pods and a sd? |
