asked hoyt about the durability of the extreme hull, he said he built a few hulls for the texas bunch, with 7 runners in the floor so close together you can barely get the welder tip between the runners to weld them in. he said the hulls were holding up well. any texans on here running the gtb 0.125 hulls with the 7 runners in the floor? i was wondering what size boat/motor you have, what kind of stuff you're running your boat thru, and how the hull is performing/holding up. |

stillduckin is the one with 7 runners...he just got his boat this past weekend runnin a 36 PD on it he doesnt get on here a whole lot but may try lookin him up and PM my 1848 is .125 and has 6 2x2's and when had it built I thought it was gonna be enough but obviously not lol...not 100% on this but think those extreme hulls are one peice if they could make one with 3/16 bottom and still crimp the bottom then weld the sides on you wouldnt HAVE to have more runners but with the .125 hulls runnin our lakes up here the more the better |

I have on with the extra runners and a modified 31HP GTR. Boat runs great and is holding up. The handling by far out weighs the speed loss of 1 mph. |
