That boat brand new in '98 would have been $6000 rig approximately. It is 11 years old now. Even if it hasn't been used but twice, its value has depriciated considerably. How bad do you want the rig? Make an offer based on what you are willing to pay and go from there.

Dude, I just saw the classified ad for this rig on the MS site and I doubt it was more than a $5000 rig brand new! Definitely would NOT go over $1500 if it was me. Good Luck.

alright, appreciate it phathead. i just figured it might be worth 1900 or so since it's welded, and i figured the motor would be worth 1000 by itself???? i don't know though. that's why i asked. thanks man.

Oh, and I offered 1800 last week and they said they had 2400 in it, and asked if i could go 2100. I said no. they said someone offered them 2500 monday. he can have it for that.

Nevermind Phatty, Dude bought it. 2500. Sucker. Honestly, I am just looking for a flatbottom 1648 or longer and around the same width w/trailer. I'm just going to use it for a few seasons with my 25LT, and then upgrade. It's getting down to crunch time with season starting in 28 days. These boats are harder to find than I imagined. I'm on a low budget too!
