Push Pole Mount

Are the clips the suggested way to go? Its a 10' 1 1/4" push pole. We were thinking on using something like what's in the link below. It includes the plastic clips and aluminum "C" shaped pieces to keep the clips from getting broken. $ 38 total including UPS and tax. Mounted one set directly to my blind frame.
