Push Pole Mount
I'm fixing to help a buddy mount a push pole to the rail of his boat. Are the clips the suggested way to go? Its a 10' 1 1/4" push pole. We were thinking on using something like what's in the link below. Only concern was of the pole bouncing out during travel. http://www.iboats.com/Marine_Pole_Stora ... _id.257731Thanks guys...2 more weeks LA boys

Re: Push Pole Mount
Use the clips but I'd secure the pole with a small bungee as well just to hold it flush to the boat. TXSHOCKWAVE had a pole mounted to his rig might want to shoot him a PM.

Re: Push Pole Mount
the clamps that come with the go-devil boats hold pretty good. Ive only had my pole bounce out once due to rough water.

Re: Push Pole Mount
Just bought 2 sets from Go-Devil. It includes the plastic clips and aluminum "C" shaped pieces to keep the clips from getting broken. $ 38 total including UPS and tax.
Mounted one set directly to my blind frame. Not sure exactally where the other set will go.
