New to the forum and shopping for a new boat i came across shallow water custom boats out of Ponchatoula,LA and was just wondering if anybody knew anything about them. |

Fins and Feathers is also out of Ponchatoula and he builds some nice boats. I hunt with a guy that got one built from them and it's a really nice boat and my padna is not easy on his shit. |

I've heard the have had boat rake pulled in with a ratchet strap to weld it. Welded it crooked |

Very poor finish work, not a single door fit flush. Sloppy porous welds. Asymmetric side walls through rake section. Terrible paint quality, very rough finish. Slag everywhere. Etc. |

Saw a fins and feathers boat awhile back. Doesnt look like a bad boat. Considering it was on the water when i saw it, i didnt get to look at every detail |

In the one I saw it wouldn't have mattered if the pump was running... Wasn't plumbed outside the boat.. Guess your supposed to hold the hose while your sinking.... |
