 1660 Gator tail Hey guys , Im trying to find someone that has a 1660 gator tail boat and motor so I can get some measurements .. I really want one but i dont know if it will fit in my garage. I need the measurement from the trailer tongue to the prop on a gator tail 35. and then from tire to tire on the trailer

Re: 1660 Gator tail I have an 1860 I'll be going to the storage unit later today to remove the blind etc. I can take some measurements for you.
I'll tell you right now I'm storing in a 10x28' and I have 3' +/- just off the top of my head so its around 25' long.
Width I have about a foot on each side maybe more.

Re: 1660 Gator tail I hope Ace will measure his for me, I really want one... Damn home owners assoc. will not let me keep one outside. Therefore it has to fit in my garage. I have around 19-20 foot front to back. I know I need a swing or pull away tongue. I just need to know how far the motor sticks out ? and how much space is saved when its turned to the side.

Re: 1660 Gator tail trailers are right at 21ft if i aint mistaken. swing away tongue will give u about 18 foot

Re: 1660 Gator tail Your motor will also hang off the end of the trailer / boat at least 2' straight back if not more... now if you turn it to the side you might get to 2' it will be close. If you angle the trailer into your garage you can probably achieve your goal. You'll for sure need a swing away.
